Partout
License
Partout is free software under the terms of the GPLv3. The source code is fully available on GitHub.
If you’d like to use Partout in a product that can’t meet all GPLv3 requirements (such as apps distributed through the App Store), though, you need to obtain a commercial license.
Overview
The commercial tiers should cover the typical uses of Partout in end-user proprietary software. The fees vary according to the metrics (quantity) that the purchaser declares in good faith:
- Internal Products – Company size, meaning the approximate number of employees.
- Startups and Public Providers – Monthly active users (MAUs) during the previous calendar month. Startups are limited to 10,000 MAUs.
Trust
Partout is an independent project, sustained through Passepartout and commercial licensing. These funding channels enable it not only to survive, but to grow and improve. Please respect this work, the license, and the trust that keeps it alive.
Additional notes
- Licenses include access to the software and ongoing maintenance updates.
- Bug reports and integration questions are handled on a best-effort basis.
- Partout may depend on third-party libraries, which remain governed by their respective licenses.
